Getting started

Set Sumwright up once on any device and your account and data sync to the rest. Here’s the whole path from install to your first plan.

1. Get the app

iPhone / iPad
Install Sumwright from the App Store on iPhone or iPad.
Android
Install Sumwright from Google Play.
Mac & Windows
Download the Mac or Windows app and run the installer.
Web
Or just open sumwright.com in any browser — nothing to install.

2. Create your account & start the trial

1

Sign up with your email

Enter your email and a password to create your account. You’ll use the same account everywhere.

2

Start your 7-day free trial

Your 7-day free trial gives you full access. It converts to the plan you chose only if you don’t cancel before day 7.

Where to start the trial: Begin the trial in the iPhone or Android app. The web offers the best ongoing price — see Subscriptions & billing.

3. Secure your account

Before you connect a bank, Sumwright asks you to set up a two-factor authenticator — this protects the most sensitive action in the app. On the apps, it also locks itself behind your device security whenever you reopen it.

Full details are in Security & App Lock.

4. Connect a bank & set your cushion

Link a US bank account, read-only, through Plaid, then tell Sumwright the minimum buffer you want to keep in your account. Every plan it builds respects that cushion. Walk through it in Linking your bank.

5. Sign in everywhere

One subscription unlocks every device. Sign in with the same account on your phone, computer, and the web, and your accounts, bills, and plan follow you — pick up exactly where you left off.

Good to know: The full financial workspace — accounts, bills, calendar, receipts, and your payoff plan — lives in the iPhone, Android, Mac, and Windows apps. The web is your account and storefront, plus the Wealth Horizon projection.
